    During the construction of jet grout columns, the <\/span>high\u2011pressure fluid jet<\/strong> (typically a mixture of water and cement) <\/span>breaks up the soil structure and mixes with it. After the hardening of the binder<\/strong> it forms a <\/span>soil\u2011cement structure<\/strong>. <\/span>Using the high\u2011pressure grout jet, <\/span>not only cylindrical columns but also panel\u2011 geometries<\/strong> can be produced by rotating the drill string. <\/span>Jet\u2011grouted soil\u2011cement columns are <\/span>structural elements with lower strength compared to concrete piles<\/strong>, but <\/span>additional steel reinforcement can be added<\/strong> where higher load\u2011bearing capacity is required. <\/span>When the goal is seepage reduction, <\/span>overlapping of the jet grout elements can be ensured through precise technological planning<\/strong>. The jet-grouting <\/span>columns\u2019 diameter can vary between 0.6 m up to 3.5 m depending on the soil conditions and applied jet-methodology<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
