In the autumn of 2025, KOMETA 99 Zrt. launched a large-scale development project to modernize its meat processing plant in Kaposvár. Under a direct commission, HBM implemented the Screwsol displacement pile technology, offering an efficient and sustainable solution for the foundation of heavy-load industrial facilities. As part of the project:

  • nearly 1,600 reinforced structural piles were installed for the building’s main load-bearing structures and the automated, high-capacity warehouse system, which will become a central element of the plant’s logistics processes.

  • in addition, nearly 1,500 unreinforced piles were constructed to support the floors.

Beyond the Screwsol displacement piling method, which minimizes waste and concrete usage, we successfully developed a low-carbon concrete mix with a carbon footprint of only 190 kg CO₂/m³, placing it in the low-emission concrete category.

The design and construction phases were carried out in parallel and in full coordination, enabling us to complete the project on time and in full compliance with client and technical requirements.
