We are proud to contribute to the renovation of the Gellért Hotel, one of Budapest’s most iconic buildings. On behalf of our partner DVM, we carried out the detailed design and execution of jet grouting foundation underpinning works required due to localized structural extensions and basement floor deepening. Our specialists installed more than 200 jet grouting columns with diameters ranging from 800 to 1,000 mm beneath the basement walls within the confined corridors of the basement levels, using our latest compact drilling rig, which made its debut on this project. We are confident that the benefits of this specialized machine, designed by our parent company specifically for jet grouting and micropiling works in restricted-access environments, can be utilized on many similar heritage preservation and building refurbishment projects in the future.
