In the historic downtown of Budapest, in the immediate vicinity of the Dohány Street Synagogue, we delivered the excavation support and earthworks for the Seven Pearl real estate development under a design-build contract. The preservation of the built heritage, retention of the historic façade, and the highly constrained construction environment posed significant engineering and organizational challenges. An excavation reaching nearly 10 metres in depth, carried out in front of a diaphragm wall supported by more than 100 ground anchors and 24 steel struts, enabled the construction of a two-level underground parking structure. The project was completed in May 2026, meeting the client’s quality expectations.
