Our history
HBM Ltd. was established on the 1st of January in 1995 from the Department of Chief Technology Engineering of the ‘Hídépítő’ Company. The founders were Bachy, owned53% of HBM Ltd.
Hungary’s market-leader special deep foundation company was created by combining the most experienced specialists of the Hungarian deep foundation industry and Bachy’s experience and advanced technology.
Based on the development of deep foundation technologies and the growing customer demands, HBM has continuously developed its machine fleet. Today, our fleet is unique in Hungary, worth HUF 1,4 billion.
Milestones in our life:
1997.
July 1.July 1, 1997
With the merge of Bachy and Soletanche, HBM has become a member of one of the largest and best-known deep foundation companies in the world. At the same time, it became the assigned Hungarian representative of Soletanche Bachy.
2007.
January 25.JANUARY 25, 2007
VINCI acquired Soletanche Bachy. Following the transaction, HBM also became part of the world’s largest construction and infrastructure development holding company.
2008.
March 21.MARCH 21, 2008
Soletanche Bachy acquired the full ownership of HBM from Hídépítő Zrt.
2009.
January 1.JANUARY 1, 2009
Within VINCI group, all deep foundation companies have been merged, and the Soletanche Freyssinet holding was established, ofwhich Soletanche Bachyis the leading member.
